Engaging Your Students Wherever They Are with Nearpod

Jon Poole, Nearpod’s Vice President for Higher Education and Emerging Markets, and Dan Behan, Director for Higher Education Sales, will discuss how a new generation of student engagement tools are quickly emerging in today's higher education classrooms. Nearpod is a leader in this space, taking previously flat lectures, videos or content and morphing them into engaging student diagnostics and collaboration tools. Faculty can upload existing PowerPoint or Google slide lectures into the platform - add games, whiteboards, assessments, and other elements - to increase student attention and engagement. Analytics for student participation are available in real time and after class as well, giving faculty a quick way to assess engagement and student outcomes.
